A PLEA FROM THE HEART: WE NEED FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO KEEP THE AKU INFORMATION CENTRE OPEN
The AKU Information Centre opened in January 2008 with Lottery funding. It has so far done a tremendous job raising awareness of Alkaptonuria among doctors and patients.
Funding from the Lottery ends in July 2010. We want to keep the Information Centre open to continue to provide this vital service, but we need your help to raise funds to enable us to do this.

Please get involved. Pass the letter on to friends and family, think about raising funds by doing, for example, a sponsored event, perhaps get your workplace involved and help us to raise enough money to keep the Centre open.
